past couple of days
I'm not used to waiting so long to write in here, but I like not seeing a computer every day and feeling some weird form of guilt of not writing. Anyway, wow, none of that was the point of this at all.
I'm officially growing up. I didn't realize how odd it feels to talk with some high school kids, including the ones I graduated with. There are some that I can spend hours with, then there are others and you have nothing to say to them anymore - you just don't know where to start. Oh well, I'll get used to it as time goes on.
Ha ha! Yesterday was the funniest day ever. My mom and I went shopping and whatnot yesterday and when we got home we realized that no one had house keys. And because life is the way it is, we couldn't get them from other family members. I eventually talked my mom into letting me climb through a window, even though it wasn't the one I was planning on going into. I have a small window in my kitchen, and it was the only one that was open. I had to get a ladder and open the window leaving me about 2 by 2 1/2 foot space. That is a very small space for a girl my size. Anyway I had to straddle the window to get in (there wasn't a better way really) and had to drag my leg across the sill because it's about a 4 foot drop and I had to get a good footing with my other leg. My mom, of course, just stood there laughing and pushing me (she believed it was helping). Oh, God, my legs hurt so bad now, I actually have bruises from the sill on both of them. I walked like a cowboy most of yesterday, it was sad.
Last night I called into work so I could go to a dedication with my family. After the dedication, we went to this place called Big Hops, and I have to say that I love that place. They have the best down-home meals, and their waiting staff was awesome. I'm definitely going to have to go there again.
Alright, time to go chill with the family. We've been cleaning out the basement - we just found that it evidently flooded Thursday. My relaxing Monday's going to turn into nothing but work - bluh. If anyone becomes bored, give me a call. Later!
