Oh, I have seen that! I just didn't realize it was new. I actually liked Caroline. It was different for her, totally, but I thought it was still really nice. I hated Elena. She looks topless and on top of being able to see her butt... I wondered if they were trying to say something about Elena's character this season. I really didn't like Caroline in last season's promo... actually, I don't think I liked any of them. The "wild", "animal", "I have no idea" thing was not a good look.

And no, I'm not watching the Originals either. For the last couple years, I've mostly only stuck with TVD for Klaus and Caroline (together, but also their individual scenes too). So TVD without Klaus and the Originals without Caroline... By themselves, neither of them are enough to get me to watch their show (sorry, Caroline, sorry, Klaus). Plus, pregnant Haley *gag*.

Well, I really grew to like Kol and I'm not sure he's coming back (though you never know). And while I'm glad Bekah, Elijah and Klaus are alive, I'd prefer them to be alive in Mystic Falls. It doesn't even make sense to me since Silas, who is older and stronger and already beat Klaus with his white oak trick, is still running around. I can't see the Originals letting a threat to their lives live let alone run free while they go to New Orleans for what exactly? I just don't get it. I'm not really a Julie Plec fan right now (actually, I'm barely ever a JP fan).

LOL, well semi-new. At least for me. See, I guess its just a personal like thing. I mean, I stumbled upon some higher res single Candice pics and I liked it better when I got to see it better. (Especially the hair.) But I'm the oppostite, I liked the gold dress she was in last year. (Though the single character posters they did with the latin were BAD, I liked her look in general and in the outtakes I saw. She had much more tamed hair in most of them) LOL, yeah. Elena...I didn't like the topless part either or understand why it was necessary. They could have done a semi-seethrough red dress without doing that. Idk, I think TVD needs to hire better people for promos in general. They tend to be way over photoshopped.

I understand. Sometimes that's just the way it goes. Though maybe they'll be a crossover at some point with the character that you can at least watch clips of. (I'm hoping for this anyways) Yeah the baby storyline...I just...Yeah.

LOL, there are some definite problems with how they planned things. But I guess, it could be by the finale they thought Silas was gone and would no longer be a problem. IDK. I don't think it all got fully planned out/explained as well as it should have been. They just really wanted the spin off.

I also noticed that everyone else is wearing black and Elena's wearing red. That drives me crazy. I know the show is really about Elena but come on. Might as well rename it the Elena Diaries, blargh.

I did notice the intense about of photoshop on the Caroline-latin-red dress pic. But they were all like that so...

I hope for a crossover too but at the same time, I'm sure they'll screw it up and I dread Caroline finding out about the Haley situation.

Maybe by the finale (although I doubt it), but they left before the finale, right in the middle of the Silas situation so...

Whatever. I've just given up. I still read TVD fanfic though so at least I haven't completely abandoned it, I guess.

The CW promo people are very photoshoppy happy. Like to the point where they make gorgous people less pretty somehow. Which I mean, how do you even do that?

LOL, I'm slightly more optomistic than you on the crossover front.

Well Klaus came back in the finale, so in my mind he was still keeping tabs on MFs. Or you know, particular residents anyways....But yeah, mostly it was a writing thing. A bad writing thing.

Sometimes is best just to enjoy through fandom. And there's lots of a good fanfic out there for when you want to feel better. XD
