20 things about freak and slinds...
ok so freak and i have been "going to sleep" for the past 30 minutes, meaning we have been awake talking instead. and we decided to make a list of things that most people don't know about us, inspired by the newest trend in lj posting. so here goes...
1. one time when we were in 6th grade, freak and i were at her house alone after school during a tornado warning. my mom called me and scared us to death, so freak and i got in the bath tub in the basement with her dog, a huge blanket, and huge books to cover our heads. we were crying and were so scared but now we laugh about it.
2. one time during the summer before our sophomore year, freak came to the beach with me and my familia. at one of our bathroom stops, my brother came up behind freak and pantsed her, thinking it was me. it was not good. but now its really funny. we still don't know how he thought it was freak since she has brown hair and i have blonde hair...
3. on the same trip, we had our family portrait taken and our photographer was really dumb. like really. he kept trying to get my youngest brother to stay still so he was talking to him about spongebob. that was the wrong thing to talk about to get my brother to sit down because it just made him even more excited so then freak had to try and calm him down.
4. one time when we were shopping with her mom, freak and i heard the somewhere song from the fifel movie so we decided to sing it. but for some reason, we could never get past the pale moonlight line in it because we would make our voices crack when we sang it which made us laugh hysterically. its still not very funny but we still laugh every time we sing it.
5. one time in 7th grade, my family and freak went to florida and stayed with some family friends at their beach house. we went on the boat into somewhat shallow water with really tall seaweed to go scalloping. now, this may not seem like it is that difficult, but the scallops charge. needless to say, freak and i were a little scared of the scallops.
6. one time, i made a pond in freak's front yard.
7. one time, freak and i her yuppie cousin joe going to disney world. we decided that this would be so funny that it would make a great movie: joe goes to disney world. keep an eye out for it in theatres, it will be there....eventually.
8. one time, or several times actually, the same cousin joe tackled me and freak and used the extracurricular pain manipulator on us. don't ask, it's not as impressive as it sounds.
9. one time, or lots of times, i made freak go on dates with me. i regret all of those dates.
10. one time we took away freak's dad's man card because we were dancing around to nutcracker music while he was cooking and he couldn't get us to stop.
11. one time, when we first got our dog kylie face, freak and i had to keep her awake really late at night so she wouldn't whine in the middle of the night. it didn't work though because after we had put her to bed we got hungry and went downstairs and woke her up again. it was not good.
12. one time, freak was sitting in her "car" and she looked out the window and saw my youngest brother walking down the street doing his karate forms.
13. one time, sunshine, aka freak's sister, had her first boy girl party so freak and i went down to the basement to chaperone the party. she got so mad so we kept going down there to annoy her.
14. one time, freak and i went with her parents to cousin joe's house for dinner. after dinner, freak and i wanted ice cream so joe said we could all go to the nearby gelato place. freak's dad did not want to go but after much coaxing, we finally got him in the car. when we parked in downtown decatur, her dad got out of the car and went smack into a tree. he was not happy. he sat outside the gelato place sulking while we ate gelato and joe gave us a tour of all the cute little shops.
15. one time, freak's little cousin kat thought a was a fishie and she tried to make me eat wooden burritos.
16. one time, or lots of times, freak's other little cousin im's us and asks us about college life.
17. one time, after a long day of shopping, freak's mom took us all to blockbuster so sunshine could get a movie. freak and i stayed in the car and while sunshine was getting out, freak sais goodbye. since that was so offensive and all, sunshine smacked freak really hard. i guess she deserved it.
18. one time, life was great at super eight for me and freak. and julie freakin andrews.
19. one time, i went into read it again to buy a book for my brother but i needed to ask my mom a question about it. so i called my house before i even got into the parking lot and my dad answered. i asked her my mom and he said he would get up and give her the phone when he was done doing some work stuff. i asked him if he could just yell for her but he made up an excuse about her not having a phone, even though we have about 1000 in our house. so whatever, i just let him finish. but then it started taking awhile. and then, after i freak and i had been in the store for about 5 or 10 minutes, he started singing, loudly. so loudly that freak could hear him through the phone even though she was standing a few feet away. we almost fell over laughing. and then after asking him to get up and give the phone to my mother again, he yells for her to get the phone and says that he could have done that all along but he just wanted to annoy me. i wasted about 20 minutes in that store waiting for my lovely dad. and freak was laughing the whole time.
