A nice day for a stroll
On Friday I walked home from work. It was a very nice day to do so and I had the company for most of the way of rayan4d2. I started out at 23 Drydock Ave in Boston and walked to South Station, where I met up with rayan4d2. That was 1.5 miles. We then walked another 6.7 miles to rayan4d2's place. I live 3 miles past that, but was too tired to continue. emilytheslayer was kind enough to come pick me up.
I remembered my hat, my water and to put on sunblock before I left. I did not remember to charge my phone. I was lucky rayan4d2 saw me standing in front of South Station or that could have become an comedy of errors.
When next we do this, we may just walk to Sunset Grill, 4 miles from South Station and stop for food & beer and have people meet us there for dinner. We may also try to sucker persuade head58 to join us for the walk. His office is very close to an early part of our route.
