Grandma Comes Home
Grandma was originally supposed to be home from the medical center on Tuesday. However due to continuing problem with her heart they didn't want her to go just yet. Monday they were supposed to do both procedures (the Pacemaker and the angioplasty). They ended up doing only the Angioplasty and saved the Pacemaker for Tuesday morning. So Tuesday evening she was feeling good but the problem with her heart speeding up wasn't completely fixed. This meant they would have to try to fix it with medication. So they needed to make sure she was doing fine from the procedures. Then they wanted to start her on a medication and watch how well she did on that.
Finally today she was given the go ahead to come home. We thought that she might stay through Friday but thankfully they were happy with how she was doing and let her leave earlier. Mom went down to pick her up around 2pm and she was home sometime after 4pm.
To help mom out I invited dad to go see Transformers 2 at Cinetopia with dinner so that we could be away for a while. Grandma got home just fine and mom helped her out by staying with her.
