Tuesday Library Day
I went to the library early today so that I bring my Copic markers for people in the Anime club to use. They were drawing on the cardboard sheets the library uses to keep the windows dark for the room they use.
I found Emily in the Teen Space room and brought her the Phoenix Wright figurine I found at the convention. It was in sealed box so I didn't know which one she got but I figured she would like just about any of them. Luck was with her and she got GoDot the one she likes most. So she calls it her pocket GoDot. :D
My kids' friend Sam was also there and he wondered where his gift was. Well I don't know anything about what Sam likes so I had no idea. I felt kind of bad though and gave him a package of pocky instead. ^_^
Emily and I set up some tables in the meeting room and began drawing. I wanted to draw Miku from the program Vocaloid but needed a reference. When I set up my laptop that led people to want to see my pictures from the convention so I spent too much time on that.
I finally found a good reference and quickly sketched and inked a picture of Miku. I got to quickly color it too before they had to put the cardboard back on the window. I packed up my markers at that point and headed out to the gallery where Bo and I sit while the kids visit with their friends and attend the Teen Tuesday gathering (that happens after the Anime club).
Danielle arrived around this time so I gave her the figure I found for her. It was a Dynasty Warriors figure also in a box and I didn't know which one she would get. Luck didn't hold out and she didn't get LuBu (the one she wanted) but she did like the figure anyway. :D
After that I sat down on a bench in the gallery to watch the latest episode of LOST before the library closed for the night.
