Predicted Outcome
So Obama is announced as president. The votes here haven't even been counted yet because the polls had just closed when I heard the news, but I guess no one cares. -_- That is not to say that I am upset at the outcome. I actually predicted it twice. The first time was when he was running against Hillary. Bo was sure Hillary would win and I told him it would not be that way because Hillary is a woman and no white woman has ever won over a black man. Sound racist? Who won? See my point? It's just history repeating itself.
So how did I predict today's outcome? McCain had Sarah Palin and that was his undoing. The previous statement is applied to the presidential race as well and the outcome was inevitable.
To me it means that a Woman president isn't far behind and hopeful I will be around to see that history in the making too. ^_^
As for the future, it's anyone's guess and I have hope that Obama will do a better job than Bush...though I guess that could be said about just about anyone who ran.
