Grandma's Sick
Over the President's Day weekend Ingrid had my grandma watch K-dog who was sick. Ingrid says he had pneumonia but I think he must have had something else contagious because grandma got violently sick today. At lunch she was doing fine and we had plans to go to the store and pick up things after I got off work. When I got there after work she was just sick as can be and situated in her bathroom because she was throwing up so frequently.
I decided not to take her shopping because I didn't want her to go anywhere being that sick. She needed some prescriptions refilled though so I called Kaiser to see if I could pick them up for her. They said I could so I headed out for her.
I got there and decided that whatever it was that she had, I didn't want to catch it. So I picked a bottle of purell to help prevent me from getting it. I was thinking it probably wouldn't help much but I wanted to try. I picked them up with no problems and took them back to her. She was dressed for bed when I got back. I helped out by feeding the cats and cleaning up a bit before I left. Hopefully she will feel better in the morning.
