a lot has happened recently.
And i think its mostly good things...?
My funky dance recital thing was from the 17th to the 19th. Saturday night had to be the best out of all. I dunno. But there was certainly that feeling of high that people say they get when they perform something. I was in the opening number. And its, like, a really strange feeling to describe. I was sitting behind the curtain and I could hear the people murmuring and then the music started. Each time before the curtain pulled open, I kept thinking to myself, "am i really about to do this?" And once it did just moved the way I have been for the past year and by the end of the song i was breathing pretty hard and i had a weird grin on my face that I'm sure was caught on camera...
As i was running back to the dressing room, i kept doing leaps. I admit, i'm pretty proud of myself. ALTHOUGH i think Michelle's choice in costume, makeup, and hair was...i dunno, skanky?
I am a little bit sad that Zach missed my first dance, because thats the one i like the most, the one i put the most passion into, and the one a have a solo (teeny tiny as it is). Ah, but i guess i don't blame him. Traffic and just putting up with the rest of the classes...but i mean, if you didn't want to see it that would have been fine too. Good Lord.
Afterward, Angie, Robbie, Mrs. Hollaway, Alex, and I did the ritual of dancing like morons in the car to "Wind It Up" on the way home. And you know, we get pretty enthusiastic. Since the theme of the show was "Stars On Broadway", (and we danced to "All That Jazz" OMG a dream come true!) we played "We Both Reached For The Gun" and Robbie starred as Billy Flint, I was Roxie the dummie, and Angie was the puppet reporter(s). That was really awesome awesome awesome. And just damn funny.
Other stuff? I'm gonna buy part of Jordan's costume from her to wear to Kamaron's party. It's gonna be cool, i hope. I might end up looking more like a gypsie than a pirate, though.
I've poppin out songs like crazy. my fingers are really really sore. I even sang a miniscule bit at Barnes and Noble. Which was embarrassing. Because even though more than three people signed up, I was the only one who came. Emily got to come and listen for maybe five minutes and had to leave. Robbie ended up not being able to come. And Zach went to the wrong store, which i blame myself for, because i never specified which one and i know he's having a hard time paying for gas nowadays.
And I wrote a song about him, and i was planning to sing it over the phone for him, but SOPHIE KEPT GETTING IN THE WAY.
I also have a zillion photograghs that I REALLY MUST POST, but i keep putting off, but thats only because of the shear number of them.
AND my sketchbook. i got new one, but they changed the design and i don't like it so much as the old one.
AH. THERE'S PROBABLY MORE BUT IM FORGETTING OH WELL. GOODNIGHT.
