what's cooler than cool? group 3!
I had my ucsd orientation on monday and tuesday. so let's see, things started happening sunday night...
on sunday night... we celebrated father's day, again. had a big dinner thingy. good stuff. then I started packing. packing for two days wasn't too bad... but I didn't get to watch the simpsons... and it's actually one I haven't seen before. damn. then filled out some other stuff for ucsd... even though they're due on july 5. so I went to sleep at 11 or so. looked at clock... 2 am, then fell asleep.
so monday morning. woke up at 4 am. fell back asleep then got up at 4:50. ate stuff. had migraine. had tylenol. had cough medicine. then took off at 5:45. traffic started off okay. then went bad. almost killed myself a couple times cuz I fell asleep. but I got to ucsd at around 8. checked in and everything. the dorms were nice. nothing excessive. two beds two desks and two closets. five double rooms and one single room and one restroom in a suite. so on with the fun stuff with the administrator and stuff. the provost seemed like a nice lady, but then again... mrs. tsao seemed okay the first time I saw her too. so yeah, but the students there are fun. they put on skits and stuff. then other counselors talked... and we kinda looked at the campus. then lunch. lunch was good, nothing to complain about... maybe until I find out how many meal points they'll cost. then more blah blah from the provosts and whatnot. then dinner... and then they had square dancing at night. I didn't participate... cuz I didn't want to. reverting back to the loner that I had always been. then sleep, first time I've had a roommate. he's alright... made me a little less worried about getting a random roommate.
so tuesday morning. supposed to wake up at 7:30 for breakfast. I woke up... but I didn't feel like going, so I just went back to sleep. my roommate too, hahahaha. but then I found out later that they had scrambled eggs. damnations >.<. so I walked around hungry and listened to the lectures hungry and fell asleep during the lectures hungry... until lunch. then I ate too much. watched another skit by the ucsd students. then went home. traffic was okay... hit 100 for like a second. maintained 70-90 for like 1/3 of the trip. but also hit 0 for like 10 mins... lame -_-.
so I'm home now. and wondering if I should be worrying about what hell the academics seem like they are going to be. it didn't help that the counselors kept on mentioning that many of the freshmen's gpas drop a point from their senior gpa. so... my gpa will be like 3.1, that's hella scary. or... grippa scary. haha, nor cal people talk weird. but then the activities seem fun too... they claim to have over 300 clubs and organizations on campus. but I'm also worried that I'll get lost on campus... we only went back and forth from the peterson to the erc residence hall the whole two days but I would still have gotten lost had I not been following the group.
I'm kinda scared of going to college now... and I guess I'll stay scared until school starts. then I'll just be terrified. damn, I miss high school... hahaha.
