Today was Uriel's Christmas/birthday party. It was the greatest party I've been to since high school... or maybe it should be "better" since I've only gone to two :\.
Anyway... got there with Steven (<--- good traffic guide) and then played basketball with the guys there for a little bit. Then left for the
Lord of the Rings: Return of the King.
The movie was awesome, except the scenes that any of the hobbits were in. They were like two gay couples... seriously. But anyway, I don't wanna spoil it for anybody. But umm... I also did not like the gremlin that kept saying "my precious..." cuz... that sounded gay too. All the other parts rocked. Loved Gandalf and Legolas on their white horses and Legolas's archery skills. I also liked Arwen, too bad she had such a limited role. Agent Smith, I mean Elrond, was cool too, but he has a creepy smile. My favorite character, however, has to be Aragorn. He should get something for the movie.
After the movie we went back to Uriel's house and just hung out. Basketball, billiards, horseshoe, and darts, and oh yeah, food and cake. Sprained my ankle again though... while walking. Spraining an already sprained ankle was not fun... Still played basketball though, got "owned" by Andrea and Lisa. They laughed at my having to hop on one leg while playing... :(. Tried to leave at 6:00 PM because I knew I was supposed to be at the family reunion dinner. But Steven and Ankit wouldn't let me go... so I called my mom, she got a little bit pissed, but she let me stay. :)
I shocked myself... because it was the first time I placed friends over family. Anyway, hung out a bit more until 7:40 PM then I absolutely had to leave. Felt kinda sorry for having to get Steven to leave so early. :\
I like talking to girls :). Plenty of self-discovery when I talk to girls. And I liked the friendly hug... it made me feel like someone cares about me. I guess I know people care, but guys usually just don't show emotions that much. Anyway, thanks Andrea :).
Got home... and opened presents with family ^.^. Loved my presents this year. A belt and a shirt that said "blame the parents" from my mom. A watch that looked pretty expensive from my dad. And a mp3 player from my sisters ^.^ ^.^ ^.^. :D Some other gifts were opened, but the biggest one was our gift to our parents. We gave them a ping pong table... and we placed it in the middle of the living room. Maybe not the smartest thing to do, but it is definitely going to be easily accessible. :) Anybody want to play?
Michael called late at night to ask about the roller coaster project. And my sister's husband (or as Andrea liked to call it, "brother-in-law") kept on insisting that my girlfriend was calling, even though I am pretty sure he knows I don't have a girlfriend :\. Got my mom started though, haha, so I went to take a shower.
Found out Johnny won the "most shy" for the yearbook, I was kinda disappointed... I wanted to be in the yearbook :\. But I am happy for Johnny though... after all, I did nominate him on the senior favorites.
Chrissy has reverse Alzheimers and looks like the girl from
The Ring and Sailor Moon...
Yeah... just some thoughts I had during the week
