Wednesday
Today has been pretty interesting, but who wants to know anything that happened at school eh. However, I think winning the prom theme thing was noteworthy... but lost the governor of California thing, haha. Out of the 660 people who registered only 220 people went to vote... damn the people who didn't vote, stupid people! >.< Almost killed myself coughing today...
I went to the psat celebrating thing with my mom's voice ringing in my head, "make sure you tell them you are Linda Mai's son." My mom made me think it was gonna be like a whole bunch of reporters shouting questions or something. But it was just a calm little event. Evaded the only reporter there, haha, not really any point in getting printed in the Chinese newspapers next to the murders or arsons or something.
Saw Melody and Rachel there though, but didn't get to talk to them... haven't talked to either one of them since the sixth grade. Took me a while to recognize them; my mind was drawing a blank as I was waving to Melody. Anyway, then Norman Hsu spoke. He seemed giddy, it was obvious he was very excited about winning the election. Then Dr. Vargas, the superintendent, spoke. Then the principal of Los Altos spoke... that made me wonder where the Wilson principal was... Oh yeah, then the electricity went out... nobody screamed though, I suppose that's the true sign of smart people. ;)
Left an hour later. The weather was horrific at the time. Went to my car in the midst of a huge rainstorm. Then as I was driving the rain sounded louder, I was like, "what the hell?" Then I realized I was being hit with sleet... or is it hail? I was kinda worried about the ice breaking through but I was also enjoying driving in such adverse conditions.
So I went home, turned on the computer and showered. Seemed to piss off some people cuz I didn't have time to put on an away message for AIM. Then I ate, it was a combination of lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner. Anyway... then I napped, cuz I just like sleeping in the afternoon now.
I woke up in absolute darkness. I went, "hell no... it can't be past midnight already." It wasn't. It was 8:40 pm, and we were just hit with the blackout. So I couldn't do much, but the electricity came back at around 9:10. That wasn't too bad...
I don't want to go to school tomorrow. Melody is already afraid of me cuz she thinks I will get her sick. :( Not really gonna miss much at school anyway...
