The longest, shortest story I have ever attempted to write
Ok so I'm about to embark on my very first writing contest and I'm both excited and scared witless at the same time! It's 3k words about anything I like as long as it is centered around a "Faustian Bargain". Been brainstorming for most of the day and finally settled on an idea I had some time ago now. I randomly remembered it today as it happens. So I have the plot and the characters created, now I just have to get on with the business of writing and this is what scares me the most. I think I'm overthinking it and should just get on with it. Therefore, I will. I'm more interested in whether I can do this than the prize although winning would be nice. Anyway, I may post it here once I'm done.
