Life update
Jessica lost her very first tooth! It happened September 27, 2007. She was at Memaw's house when it happened, but I do have the tooth. I was at a Little Big Town concert in Charleston SC. That will have it's own post. It was great!
Back to the tooth.

Memaw told her to tell Granddad that she wanted $5 from the toothfairy. Jessica took 2 steps and told Granddad "I want $7 dollars"
O.O heh heh that's my girl! Quite the little negotiator :D
The toothfairy compromised and gave her $6.
Mom is back in Alabama now. I never did get to visit her in Louisiana this year. We will be visiting her next month.
She possibly has breast cancer. She was supposed to have a biopsy done before leaving LA but of course they didn't want to pay for it when she's going back to AL. As of last week nothing had been done yet. I have heard nothing this week as well
My friend, Robert, if you read this journal, you should know of him. He was diagnosed with a brain tumor a few months ago. In the xrays, it was "thumbsized". It was in too sensitive of a spot to operate, he refused chemo...it seemed only a matter of time before he died from it. He got many things in order for the eventuality then went up to the mountains of NC to be with his dad. Though he didn't tell me of it at the time, he has since told me he went there to die. He didn't tell me then because I was telling him that the tumor wouldn't kill him. He didn't want to crush my hopes even though he didn't believe them.
The first week of September, he started having bad dreams. Really vivid, the same one over and over. In it, he was laying on his bed, helpless, unable to move, talk, he could do nothing. In the dream he knew it was because of the tumor. He told me about it. He even admitted that he thought he was dreaming of his own death. Him having such a vivid reoccuring dream did bother me, but I told him and I believed it that the dream didn't mean he was going to die anytime soon.
He awoke on 9/10/07 with a busting headache and realized his dream was coming true. His girlfriend came by and he told her that he was tired, he laid back down to go to sleep, then he could have sworn that he was talking to his dead Grandmother. She weas telling him to get back up. He couldn't make a sound, but he got up and texted "Doc" to his girlfriend. She rushed him to the hospital and he didn't remember else until he woke up at the hospital to hear the doctors say that he no longer had a tumor. They had to old xrays and the new ones. It was obviously there in one and nothing in the next.
I was the first person he called :D
I thought my house caught on fire last week. Thankfully it was only my airconditioner going out. It was out for 2 days before it got fixed. The night it happened though was chaos. Smoke poured out of the vents. My boss was just leaving so we flagged her down, called the fire department and explained we saw smoke but didn't know where or if there was a fire. My boss was smart enough to turn off the power to the unit, I hadn't thought of that. I was grabbing Jessica and getting her out. Unfortunately, my boss lost her sense and used an exstinguisher on nothing. She blew it where she saw the smoke. That made more of a mess than anything else!
Because we were unsure of what caused the smoke, we also went next door to make ssure they weren't on fire. It felt like they were! It was so hot in there! Turns out he has not been leaving his vent on and his air conditioner is broke. Does anyone know if resturaunts have to turn off their pilot lights to their ovens if they're not in use?
My boss is finally fixing the plumbing problem next door that has made this place reak for a year!
She's also given me more trust. $200 turned up missing a few months ago from the money I gave her. August I believe. She called me first. I told her the truth that I took it to her and I didn't knwo what happened to it then. I even told her exactly what bills I gave her. She had just hired a new secretary down there. Yeah she stole the money but never admitted it before quitting here. She was about to get fired anyway.
After that incident though my boss has realized that I'm trustworthy. At least one good thing came from the drama!
Things aren't all good now. She still has days that she's against everything I do. I swear she's bi-polar!
