Sounds cool. Since I'm so behind (I really need to fix that), I don't know how helpful i can be with the jutsu stuff...I remember being very confused by the whole "elemental" thing.
But in general, sounds good so far :D. (Dude. Can Temari be the Sand Team's instructor?! Or Kankuro.) I think building on the Sansai clan thing for an overarcing plot would be awesomest! (And the Cloud dead Raikage's son wouldn't be the only one with a grudge re: that mess. I could so see Hanabi wanting to kill him, because his family fucked with her clan, and her sister at that, and being annoyed about the "her sister at that" part, because of course she doesn't care about Hinata; why if not for the danger of losing a pair of Hyuuga eyes, it would almost have been better if he'd succeeded. /Hanabi)
Oh, and where are Sound in all this? I think you said that Orochimaru is dead in canon, but clearly Sound's still running around in this fic (Kabuto in your last fic.) It might also be way cool to have Orochimaru still around, too, for Anko & Orochimaru interaction later on, though not necessarily yet; since we've already split from canon with our living!Asuma.
So, then, Leaf-nin that will be here are Ebisu, his team (OCs?), Anko, Our Heroes, Neji. Am I missing anyone?
I was actually thinking Gaara as Sand instructor, but really either of his siblings would make just as much sense, and be even more cracktastic to write- I'll leave the choice of which Sand Sib to you.

Ebisu's team = Konohamaru Corps. But yeah, that's the Leaf-nin lineup.
Oh and Sound. Canon has mildly implied that Kabuto is filling Orochimaru's shoes in some deeply creepy ways- technically, I guess, Orochimaru isn't dead; his mind is just imprisoned in Sasuke. And Kabuto... has started modifying himself with Orochimaru's genetic material. This may or may not mean he himself is getting... Orochimaru-ish... but yeah, even if we do agree with canon there, and I could see us going either way, Sound is still a factor, and Orochimaru conceivably so, by proxy. I didn;t know yet if they were going to show up here, or why- maybe Kabuto wants to expand his genetic library, and the Hyuga and Sansai are a great starting place?
