It is kind of a slow evening, so I figured I would post a little more. Jutsus: sadly I haven't got too much figured out for Tobi, apart from his love of pranks and traps. He's a tactically minded little bugger, so he could probably get away with lacking flashy jutsu: a little ingenuity, some kawarimi, and a bag full of tripwires and explosive tags can go a long way. Maybe he's the team's summons specialist? that would keep him back from the action.
Hayabusa, on the other hand, would be much more inclined to a mix of taijutsu and genjutsu- I've made mention of his tuning-fork sword in previous bits, and the Anko-Orochimaru connection leads me to think the kids would know some sound-based techniques, Hayabusa especially. Both disorienting genjutsu things with his sword, and maybe some more flamboyant Sound Release ninjutsu techniques to deafen or concuss the enemy?
Also: I have always wanted an icon of Itachi with the caption "Uchiha Itachi: Genjutsu's Not Just For Girls Anymore" because we so seldom see male characters use 'em.
Hanabi, obviously, has been the focus of my thinking. A lot of my notions here come from the bits of the manga where Naruto is trying to improve the Rasengan with nature manipulation, making it elemental. It occurred to me to wonder what that could do to Jyuuken techniques... if Hanabi could pull off a fire-based Kaiten, that would be pretty badass (she strikes me as fire/lightning double-natured). Likewise, we learn that Asuma';s knives are made of a chakra-conductive metal... if she had wires of that same metal, she could turn Jyuuken into some scary long-ranged attacks, hence her use of normal wires in the Sansai Mission arc... and if she could lightning-nature her chakra, she could do some badass magnetic-type jutsu by spinning.....
I have one other idea, but that one I don't want to discuss anywhere as accessible as a comment thread, because it's 100% pure distilled awesome, and supposed to be a surprise.
I'm going to leave jutsus with you for a little while, again because of the not-getting-Naruto-fighting-since-it-half-turned-into-Avatar thing.
But, sounds cool! I love Asuma's knives and I'd like to see her borrow that notion. (Hey, we could have some Asuma-trains-Hanabi pre-Chuunin Exam fic, in that case. Which would be sweet. Especially if say, Ino dropped by mid-training session. I could see them clashing a bit. Or rather, Ino being loud and opinionated, and Hanabi glaring icily.)
Sound-based jutsu for the kids could be cool. I'd also love to see Tobi summon snakes. I've had in the back of my head for awhile the idea of Anko having a sort of side deal with Orochimaru's big snake (was his name Manda?): so long as she doesn't summon him or his kids to fight Orochimaru, and so long as she understands that if Orochimaru summons him against her, HE WILL EAT HER FOR DINNER, well, hey, Manda actually thinks she's pretty cool from back in the day when Orochimaru first introduced them, and he'll totally let her & her students summon his relatives. (DOUBLE EDGED SUMMON! I feel like Tobi would both absolutely hate the deal, and have a grudging appreciation for it. And hope to god he never meets Orochimaru.)
Well, that's all I have for the moment, let me know what you think.
I definitely like Tobi summoning snakes- and I love the notion of Asuma training Hanabi, but I don't feel I have a very good grip on his character- if you'd like to pursue that one, I'd love to see it.
