1000th LJ Post! Yuletide Love!
Apparently, this is my 1,000th LJ post! I had no idea!
I am thrilled to be able to celebrate it (and, really, that means celebrating fandom, which is why I got an LJ and what I use it for and what introduced me to almost all of you) by bringing your attention to my fantastic yuletide gift, A Day at the Zoo.
I asked for Antique (the 2008 Korean movie based on Antique Bakery), with the men interacting outside of work as the kind of self-made family that they've become -- and, boy, did my author deliver! The voices are just right, and together they are a hilariously dysfunctional family with close, personal relationships with chaos and mayhem. Just the way I love them.
It's great fun if you know the movie, if you don't know the movie but know Antique Bakery, or quite probably even if you don't know either one.
