So, I went to the most fabulousest fannish dinner last night, which was Eeeeeeee!
Somehow during the commute down there, though, I lost my cell phone/got it stolen (which is, of course, the Aaaarrrrrgh!). I called the phone this morning, once I'd made sure I hadn't left it at home ... and the greeting had already been changed.
Of course, customer service is closed for the holiday.
*wails and gnashes teeth*
BUT. Dinner couldn't have been more fantastic. ALSO, my husband will be cooking our Thanksgiving dinner while I sleep today. And then we will eat and drink and go downtown and eat and drink some more!
ALSO ALSO.
HA. I KNEW IT, I KNEW IT, I KNEW IT. Tease me, taunt me, make me figure out your split-personality ways! I will come crawling back and beg for more!
(The fight scenes just rock, don't they?)
One thing I totally love about this point in the storyline (which is all I know so far, so please don't spoil me) is that Ichigo is totally taking on The Man. The black vs. white color-coding in this ep really worked for me; I find it utterly charming that, if I think about it, Ichigo's a Lucifer figure. Even though *we* feel he's "on the side of the angels," he's actually the one who's quite literally taking Heaven on.
Most decidedly Eeeeeeee! Although the next ep doesn't air till Dec. 6, which is definitely Aaaarrrrrgh!
