Argh!!!
Now anyone who knows me knows how navigationally/directionally challenged I am when it comes to driving, especially in TO. At the same time, I've been attempting to figure out an ironclad, efficient way to and from work, and maybe cut out a bit of highway driving. The old way I have been doing it makes me feel like I'm going full circle from one highway (401) to another (400), just to take a cutoff, come around and end up near Keele Street. It has since dawned on me that I can take the 401 to Keele, eliminating the 400 totally. Yay me, as it shaves off about 5 minutes travel time and I don't have to deal with any more bull (those drivers on the 400 in the afternoon are nuts!!!)
So, tonight, I decided to treat myself and take the 407 ETR....HA!!! I thus gap out, miss the 404, end up on McCowan in Scarborough, turn the wrong way and lo and behold, I'm seeing Major Mackenzie Drive (north!!!). *SIGH*
So, today's lesson is simple: stick with what I know!!!
(I'm also very happy that a certain person with the initials JBS doesn't frequent LJ much these days, he would never let me live this one down!)
