merry xmas and happy holidays
yup. happy holidays everyone. worked this morning for time and a half :) that should make up for not working even ONE day on the new schedule. two weeks and not one day. granted i requested off like 4 of those days...but still...so the time and a half will make up for not working for two weeks.
woke up this morning at 4:30 to open presents and get ready for work. just like the good old days of getting up a 4am to open presents. christmas seems to loose its excitement more and more everyday. i don't even think we have xmas lights up outside....maybe its cuz im not home for all the decorating and building up to it and everything.
i don't know. i definately see myself growing further and further away from my family right now. im not sure how i feel about that.
work today was extreamly slow. as in we had 4, 8 and 9 filled by noon and they were checked by 1pm. thats second shifts work that usually doesn't get done until around 4:30....then both me and the other girl left a half hour early....one of us definately had to wait until 2:30 when 2nd shift came in, but the other one could have probably gone home at 1:30 and not have been missed. its going to be just as dead tomorrow. yippie.
i got 2 way radios. i can finally stop borrowing peoples. i was just playing with my dog with them and confusing her. it was funny.
well i gotta work again tomorrow 6:30-3 so that means its time for bed.
