Speaking of t's, say the word 'tan' aloud, and then the word 'tree.' Odds are, you are probably not enunciating a perfect 'tree' but rather a sound closer to "chree." The "ch" sound is made up of a 't' plus a 'sh,' and on the journey from the 't' to the 'r' most people drop in a 'sh' just to make it easier. A similar thing happens when moving from 'd' to 'r'. Say "drop." Did you really make a 'd' sound? Or did it sound more like 'jrop?'
