softball star
Tomorrow is my last day of in-processing and I am both happy and nervous. Joyous for the fact that I don't have to sit through anymore boring ass briefings.....nervous for the fact that I actually start my job on friday...that's crazy. My uniform isn't squared away at all with the patches and all so I'll probably get chewed out for that.
Onto my day today....
Got back from in-processing and then I went to my softball game. I am playing great which is so uplifting and I've made SO MANY friends that it's truly unbelievable and to top things off today...I got a coin of excellence from the Command Sergeant Major...which is a record of some kind. It made my day.
I got my cell phone hooked up but the number is different which makes sense but some of my friends just don't understand why it's a different number. My home phone and internet in my room will be hooked up in about a week and a half which is going to save me and my parents some money.
We went out to the club on saturday night after a six hour party boat cruise down the Main River....it was great. I danced with 10 guys (I don't know if i already put this in my journal so here it is). Me and Joe are suppose to go salsa dancing this weekend which should be fun.
Germany is great.
