soccer
Yesterday we won the Brigade Soccer Championship.
Okay, I've always been brought up to be modest and not conceited. Be humble, not snotty. But......
I think that I can play any sport. I think my parents have been right all along.
I got to get dirty and rip my knee open. My chain of command all know my name now which is pretty cool because there are at least 300 people in my company. I had our drill sergeants, senior drill sergeant, and first sergeant all cheering for me. It was awesome. The little things that just make you go 'wow'.
Who knew I could play soccer too? CRAZY. Now I can't talk crap to Kimmie and Amanda anymore. Darn.
So, I graduate in 13 days which is very exciting. I'm so ready to go home and see my family. I'll miss a lot of people here and by all means--I am not rushing the fact that I leave for 2 years....but it's more like 'wow' again.
Got to go now and pick out flowers to send my mom.
