... man, I wish that were true. I feel like taking a trip or something. I may even restart the search for some nice places in the mountains where (hopefully) it'd be cooler. The heat's pretty scorching and so today, I'll be taking all the 'sheltered' routes around campus in order to make life just that little bit easier ( Read more... )

hey, if you can already play those chords without em, so much the better for you! ;) My bro says the same thing... he doesn't want to build up the calluses on his fingers but then when he was showing me a couple of tunes, he kept on stopping and 'gah!'-ing and it did, ultimately, make for a good show :lol:

no, I kid you not! It sounds exactly like the regular G. My mom taught it to me and my sis (she had to find a way since she has small fingers, as do I and my sis) and I can't figure it out in my head right now because I don't have a guitar near me at the mo, but as soon as I figure it out, I'll let you know. :D

it does sound very similar! As in, when I substitute it in the song, it actually sounds ok but there is still a definite difference. I guess then, it'll depend on the song.

That said... I finished a song! Whee! :D
