7 things that were awesome about this Tuesday:
1. The Unholy Trinity. I just...what....really? That happened? I honestly can't process any of it someone help me.
2. Santana Lopez is better than you even when she has loads of insecurities that people trample on, constantly makes questionable decisions, and is stuck in an endless cycle of angsting over her best friend. She is still BETTER THAN YOU. I actually have a lot of ~srs bsns~ thoughts about her in this episode that I'm going to spare you all from reading about here.
3. Kurt and Rachel friendship. FUCKING FINALLY. Why did this amazing joygasm take SO LONG to get on my screen in any legitimate manner (aside from sporadic duets last season). The two of them actually being confidence boosters for each other instead of the alternative was a breath of fresh air. I didn't care so much about like...the plot devices involved, but whatever. They were smiling and hanging out and doing gay high fives and that was more than enough. Lea's laugh in the car scene was so genuine I didn't stop laughing for a good minute afterward.
Anyway, the best part of this episode was the focus on friendships. Even if they dropped the ball re: Santana Lopez/Loyalty. Urm, I mean, we're not talking about it YAY HUMMELBERRY FRIENDSHIP.
4. Blaine. Unpopular opinion time. I realize, of course, that he is often criticized for stealing the spotlight from other deserving cast members that seem forgotten in the grand scheme of things. That being said, I just really enjoy his numbers I don't even know. It's Not Unusual was fabulous. And I mean...it had another person dancing around in it that I sort of maybe enjoy looking at. No big deal. It was just really enjoyable all around.
5. That awesome moment when Quinn/Rachel was 100% canon. I can't deal with that scene either. The only thing consistent about this show is how Rachel is always reaching out to people in glee and constantly trying to keep the club together (even when that means not letting other people in it). So I loved that she was the one that went to Quinn for so many reason.
6. Santana Lopez. Always and forever. (Yeah, she gets two numbers deal with it) But okay, can she not wear that bracelet?
7. That awkward moment when Dianna Agron basically plays a hyperbole of herself.
Anyway, as soon as I'm not forced to steal sketchy public wifi I'll post the things I was supposed to post last week. I actually had to hang out with someone I highly dislike just to be able to watch this episode and it was only because of the six or so text messages I got around 7:15 saying something akin to 'LYNNE OH MY GOD YOU NEED TO BE WATCHING.'
