I think it is rather unfair and rude when someone tells you that you can't do something. Because no matter what, the other person wins. It's like they set themselves up that way. Because if you do do whatever they said you couldn't or wouldn't then they can say well it was all because they told you that you couldn't or wouldn't (reverse psychology type of thing). And if you don't do it then they can just tell you, see I told you. I don't think it's fair at all and I hate it when people tell me that because then I don't know what to do besides silently fume. Because when someone tells you that you automatically wish to prove them wrong and then you (or atleast I do) realize that you can't and that they win either way. Maybe it's just me and who is usually the person who would tell me I can't or won't do something because they are very competitive and it's usually always about winning.
Anyway... it just makes me mad when people say that because then I don't know what to do to prove them wrong because they're right either way.
