alone :(
My parents left today... I was trying to convince myself to not cry until after I got back to the hotel but nope, I was crying as soon as they got out of the car. It'll be weird seeing as how I've never been more than a few hours drive away from them. It's only a few hours flight but still, it's not as easy anymore. I'm glad I do have some family down here though. I got to see my cousin's new house yesterday and hang out with him which was nice.
So now I'm at the hotel. I don't have much to do yet since everything I need is packed inside the van near the very bottom in some random box. I have called the subbing place but there was no answer so I really can't do anything more until I know what to do to become a substitute teacher... blah.
I do have some good news though. Ben and I found a place to live! We can move in on Friday hopefully. He's going to turn in the applications today and we will hopefully hear from them soon and be able to move in by the end of the week. I can't wait to be somewhere that isn't a hotel!!
