Finals week
I really don't like this time of year. It's the weekend before finals. I don't understand how people can get drunk and party on this weekend. There is so much studying people should be doing. Or maybe it's just me and not everyone waits until the last minute to study. Plus they may not have 3 exams in a row on Monday. I'm sure I'm only one of the few lucky ones with that privilege.
I am currently trying to write a paper on Sharon Olds book called "The Unswept Room". I really like this book but I just came up with a topic for this paper last night and I've already revised it a few times. I don't know if this paper is going to be very good at all. I don't want to do it... I have no ambition to get it done and I feel like by dragging the paper out of me it is going to be a horrible paper. But I have to get it done and it needs to be done today because my two hardest exams are on Monday. This paper is due on Monday too but I need time to study instead of time to write this. I would have written it sooner but like I said before I didn't have a topic... oh well. Blah... I wish my grammar was better so I wouldn't have to worry so much about this paper! I wish grammar would have been taught more frequently in the public school system I was in instead of the emphasis on writing in your own voice and own opinion. This sucks...
