lovely day
Although it didn't start out so great... Today I figured out why no one wants to drive to campus. Although I left nearly a full hour before my class started I still ended up being late for class because I couldn't find a parking space. And when I did find one it ended up being all the way next to Sloan... and my class was in Anspach. Needless to say, I was not too happy. Now I know though to make sure to leave about an hour and a half (or more) before class to ensure a parking space. Gotta love it... I don't get why CMU doesn't want to build a parking garage... I remember hearing that it would just be an ugly building that wouldn't go with the rest of campus. Because a sea of cars all glittering in the sun with people waiting very unpatiently in the aisle ways swearing out the windows is such a better view!
On a happier note- my brother set a date for his wedding! He is getting married next year, October 1st. It's kind of funny actually because I had mentioned something to him about having a Halloween wedding. I was kidding although it would be interesting. Yea for that though! And then in June of 2006 my sister is getting married. It'll be interesting to say the least.
I had my first Judo class yesterday night! It is going to be a lot of fun! It's going to be a lot of work to be able to do everything right but I really would like to be good at it. I will be bruised though I can tell you that. Not that it takes much to bruise me which just makes it worse in the end but still... I'll be aching. Yesterday we were learning how to fall. It was interesting and I haven't quite got the hang of it yet but I am going to the Judo club that they have on Sundays so that I can get extra practice.
I have run out of things to say... oh! Whoever will be here for Labor Day weekend, we should get together. My roommates are all leaving so I'll have the apartment to myself (well, that is if Lindsey decides to leave or not but none the less) so I was thinking about having our Sept. get together then? or not? I don't know. I'm not good at organizing this stuff. I'm sure I'll talk to you all about it if no one reads this and mentions it. But let me know if you're interested!
