wahhhh. it's been so long since i've been around, and am sooo happy to come back to this.

the little things they share and the negotiation of their equal but still older-younger brother thing is so lovely the way its done.

and germany stroking prussia's tongue is probably going to have me smirky smiling all the way into the new year.

i've missed the way you write these two. :)

ps. i was going to leave you a comment on one of your "writing at airport" posts a while back, but never got around to it...whatever horrid translation project i was editing during my flight delay was making smut writing a very, very tempting alternative...

Thanks! Haha, this was supposed to be a lot pornier and kinkier than it actually was. Maybe I will write a porny sequel to compensate… To be honest, I have no idea where the tongue thing came from, but I suspect it’s an offshoot of my gag kink (tmi?)

Translation work sounds grueling! I think you definitely deserve some smut!

lol. isn't fandom a place where spills all forms of our tmi via love for characters? i think my 2D tongue kink is rearing its head right about now (points to icon)

i don't think this fic requires smut compensation (i think the intimacy was great :)), but is it okay for me to conveniently and selfishly interpret "porny sequel" and "deserve some smut" with wishful eyes???

(I've been working on my smut writing skills this month, so porn has been on my mind a lot lately! Argh, who knew smut was so difficult to write!!)

You know how good this fic is? So good that I read it twice even though I'm sick and looking at the monitor gives me a headache, but I don't care because the subtleties of Prussia and Germany's relationship are so fantastic here. I love how Prussia got so childishly excited about the possibility that the world might end but that he had deeper reasons behind it. In a way it's really sad that something like that would make him happy,

The part in which Germany said he had hoped that being with him would make Prussia content and when Prussia said he wouldn't change a thing was so beautiful and brilliant. Nobody writes their bonding moments as well as you do. They're so full of emotion, and it's wonderful to see them try to make sense of their emotions in their awkward but honest way. I just can't get enough of this stuff.

Ahh, thanks so much! I can't tell you how much hearing that completely makes my day!! Prussia and Germany have so much history together to play with and they are one of my favorite pairings to write (romantic or not). I like to think they bring out the best in each other :)
