Hey guys. I've been gone forever, I know. But, I want to get back into LJ ... beyond the newsletter, which I still check pretty religiously. But, notices that people are coming back to LJ are boring, so I decided to do a couple recs.

Hey! I'm glad to be back.

And damn. lol. I just went and looked up dedication. I'd never heard of it before, but you're right. It does sound a little familiar.

Not that my idea appeared to me in tea leaves. I based it, pretty loosely, on a Harlequin book called "The Lion and the Lamb."

But anyway. lol. I'm kinda excited about it and happy to be writing again. I hit a block not too long ago.

What have you been up to? Anything exciting? I suck for not being on for so long. But you know how it is ... obsessions come and go ... and then come again. So, I'm back!

Did you read Twilight? I've only finished the first book so far - mainly because my hick town has 35 bars and our book store just went out of business - but I liked what I read.

Though, my story was based on the harlequin book. Their names were Something Lion (Author) and Something Lamb (Daughter of Publishing Mogul and Publicity Handholder.)

That's awesome that you got into writing in the SPN fandom. I'll definitely check out some of your stories! Aren't the comments addictive?

Aw man, rec something else! I already read those two. *lol* But yes, they were pretty awesome. Although I personally liked the other Miss Congeniality version better, I think.

Your fic sounds great! I'd read it, but this is a very bad week. :-/ Looking forward to when it's finished though. :)

Aw, sorry. I figured that they had made the rounds. And the other Miss Congeniality Fic was pretty awesome too. That sex scene in the tiny little bathroom ... damn.

Really, I think I just liked how campy this one was. With the gay bull riding and nipple ring and what not.

Not to worry about the fic. I hope you like it when it's up!

Haha, yeah, that's the scene my mind ultimately got stuck with, so I will always re-read that one first. ;) That, and the sheer image of Jensen, post-fuck, on a stage with a guitar. Guh!

But hah, yeah, they really both had very fun ideas.
