OK, so I took the test twice.
The cats are toasting their tummies in front of my little space heater. Both cats are delighted that I enjoy having my room overheated (my circulation is very poor, so I feel cold most of the time). They lie on the linoleum in front of the heater, generally with their tummies facing the warmth. Sometimes they roll over and let their backs warm up, too, but it seems that their tummies get VERY cold. We have tried putting down rugs and cushions on the linoleum where the cats like to sprawl, but then the cats totally avoid that spot. When we move the rug or cushion, then the cats are happy to lie right there on the bare linoleum again. What can I say? Cats are weird.
Our two cats are also quite playful. They were wrestling for a good part of the evening last night, and when they weren't wrestling, they were playing Tag. And it does seem to be a true game of Tag, as one cat will chase the other, touch it, and then turn and be chased until it gets tagged. I'm so glad that they get along so well. They're both very goodnatured little critters, and they love their people and each other. Achilles in particular loves to wash Sapphire's ears, and she's generally happy to let him. However, she doesn't like for him to wash her ears when she's trying to sleep. THEN she will slap him upside the head and let him know that she is trying to get her beauty rest.
I love watching my cats, they're better than any TV show.
