(no subject)
Okay people! It's been an eventful week so far, I set up my bed, started rehearsing for the Sound of Music, and met my Rolf. And did a whole lot of sorting and cleaning, but that's not important. I'm really happy about a few things, 1.) I get to sleep on an ACTUAL BED for the first time in at least a month, and I get to kiss a really hot guy.
All in all, I'm so hyped up on happy right now, I can barely type right. XD
We're finally starting to set my room up. It's not painted, but since mom spent her entire vacation painting Joe's room (which is my old room and about half the size of the one I'm in now) she no longer has any time to paint mine. Of course, the whole issue is pretty retarded, she won't let anyone else paint the room, she won't do it herself 'cause she has to work, I can't set up all my furniture in the places I want it because if I do that it'll get in her way when she finally DOES start painting, and even though I don't have any place to put stuff away, I'm still expected to keep a neat room.
Wow, that kinda turned into a rant about my mom. Oops.
But I am happy that my dad and I are starting to get some work done in here. We started going through boxes of old stuff from my closet today. Stuff that I haven't seen since kindergarten got pulled out and dusted off. It was surprisingly fun. My dad knows how to do that, make something fun that would be really boring and distasteful otherwise. I found a bunch of string quartet covers of songs that I like, and we listened to those while we worked. I'll be glad when we finish organizing my stuff, but it's not something I totally hate with a passion anymore.
And Rolf. I need to talk about Rolf. lol. I don't even know his name, but that guy is sooooooooo hot. In fact, it's because he's so hot that I don't know his name. When the director introduced him to us, I was too busy drooling on my script to hear a word she said. He totally fits the description, "tall, dark, and handsome". He has dark, curly hair, and dark eyes (I haven't gotten close enough to tell the actual color). He was wearing these thick rimed glasses (like, emo glasses, the cool kind) that he took off to read. He was gorgeous. It didn't hurt anything that his shirt said "I could be your private dancer". Me - How much do you charge? (Okay, I didn't actually say that.) His voice is also very nice, it's kinda sad he only sings one song.
He is definitely the sexiest guy I have ever been required to kiss.
One sad thing to note though, the director double cast the children. Meaning, there is another Liesl. *emos* But I talked to her a little and she seems like a very nice girl, so maybe this won't be so bad. (lol, "favorite things" reference) I'm going to be doing three shows and she'll be doing three shows. She gets opening night, which makes me feel a little less special, but then, she's done a few other plays before with this theater. And I haven't ever been in... any. So I'm not really upset, just a little disappointed. If I was the only one, I'd get to kiss him SIX times!
And omg I met my Gretl! She is sooooo adorable. She can't read yet, so I have to help her with her script. It's sooooo cuuuuute!
So yay! I've fixed my camera (aka, gotten batteries) so at the next rehearsal I'll get pictures of some people. XD
