Oh Hello.
Springtime here is glorious.
UMass might not have the most beautiful campus in general, but i am so damn happy. It's HUGE so walking to classes in this great weather is so nice. People are outside all the time. There is this great big hill in the part of campus i live on, and every day it's full of hippies (and not-so-hippies) just hanging out, playing music, playing frisbee, people drinking and smoking. Thursday about 10-15 of us were out there until like 2 in the morning with wine and such. Friday i only had one class and everyone else mostly skipped to we were outside more on the small hill closer to my dorm, people were playing wiffle ball and stuff. then later when the sun started to set we headed over to the big hill and people had bbqs going and fires and a band set up with amps and stuff they were just like a jam-band and everything was so awesome and it was so relaxed. we all realized how sweet it really is. I also went into town this week a couple times and walked around it was sweet. I like the vagrants here.. one guy wears blue sequins and he sings and we call him james brown. he called us beautiful ladies.
Me and Kristin went on a ride one afternoon to Shelburne Falls which is near like vermont kinda and its this tiny little town that reminded me of Colorado. They have these glacial potholes and a huge waterfall. We went in and climbed around in the rocks. It was kinda scary cause it says no tresspassing and there are signs saying that the water might fill up everyonce in a while cause it's held back by these metal walls. So i was scared i was gonna drown. We had trouble finding our way back to amherst but it was still a good time.
Friday i already talked about some but after that my sister came and we went to Bueno y Sano and then went to liam's and then to a party, it was fun even though i was the driver.
Saturday was kinda rainy but still nice out. Sarah & I woke up early to do our housing preferences for next year. We are trying for a lowrise in southwest for a change of pace. if not there we will probably be in central again. me amy & liam went to lunch and hung out then my sister went back to NY and i went to applebees for dinner. Saturday night we went to a party at sarah's brother's and it was a fun time.
today we went to barnes and noble for a while which was fun. i suggest you go there and check out the humor section there are some wicked funny books to look at. I bought a tale of two cities for like $5 it's this cute little copy.
what i'm listening to lately:
Jeff Buckley
M.I.A
Juelz Santana
Country (i know.. i know....)
Ben Lee
Donovan
AND i think You should listen to "Move on Up" by Curtis Mayfield. you might recognize it because Kanye West samples it. Its a very happy song.
