Portia De Rossi "Apologizes" For Marrying Ellen. Despite being a gay rights activist, she chose to give an apology on Jimmy Kimmel to all the Prop 8 supporters who were put out by protesting same-sex marriage. She was wed to Ellen DeGeneres in August of 2008 after California legalized the practice.
