EWU Police
so, i'm driving to pick up Aly for rehearsal when, just passing the Red Barn, i get flagged by an officer to go right. so i look to my right and there is flashing lights and cones set up. so i roll down the window and asked what was up. the officer said "we're doing car checks. if you could just drive over between the cones and follow the instructions." so i do. and i roll down the other window and put the car in park. i ask "um, is this going to take long?" another officer replies, "this will take about 2 minutes". they start having me turn on my blinkers, park brakes... so forth. made sure all of my lights were working. and the officer goes back to his car and grabs a bag. he says "thank you for participating, we have a goody bag for you. have a good night." "um, thanks." and i drive off. fricken weird. :S
anyway, things were ok today. didn't have Chicano today. SpEd was fun. we all got the chance to feel what it was like to be blind and have to have assistance to do things like wash your hands. it was weird.
watched Pulp Fiction today. they say fuck a lot... i mean a WHOLE lot. it was pretty good. not my taste really. kind of weird. hm... that seems to be the theme of the day... just weird. :) oh well.
