Wow, its been a long time

this is probably one of the longest times i've gone without updating. not that i didn't have the time. i just didn't feel like it. so whats been going on with me? well...

this last week i didn't do much. went to classes (almost all of them), dressed like a whore (for class, i'll explain later), did a lot of homework, a few quizzes, and ended the week by skipping Spanish and going to the Senior Barbaque for the Theatre Department. the time at the park was really nice... sort of. i found myself doing just about the same thing as last year. feeling really uncomfortable, barely talking, listened to Mac and Gene talk about the Seniors, and ended my time talking to Andy for a very long time. nice to know things rarely change. the long talk with Andy was rather refreshing, and i learned a lot of things about him that i would never had guessed about him.

that night i picked up Andrew from the airport. his flight was late so we didn't have time to see Death Comes to Herman, which luckily i had watched it the night before with Logan. yes, Logan and i hanged out together. it was interesting to say the least. i mean, it was nice seeing him, but it almost seemed forced and that shouldn't have been. hopefully next time it will feel more genuine. anyway, Death Comes to Herman was awesome! i was pleasantly surprised by the show and the story it had. it was really creative and something i had never seen before. Jess really needs to get that one Published. anyway, back to Andrew...

i drove Andrew to Colville first and we got some dinner. then we went to see Liz and dad. i also showed him the kittens that are living in dad's shop. they are cute as hell. then it was a late drive up to Andrew's place to drop him off. i drove into Colville and stopped at the hospital to drop off my mom's back-pack. she also checked up on an unfortunate wound i had obtained over the week and i am glad to say is finally healing. i got home really late and ended up going to bed around 2:30am after doing some laundry.

the following morning my sister awakened me by a lovely jump to the bed to see if i wanted to go to a parade. the night before i was all for it, but that morning i was just too exhausted and hurting too much to participate. so i declined and missed out on Jayden having fun. i had my dad drive me to Andrew's place around 1, an hour before Courtney's graduation party. to my surprise, dad wanted to come in and chat a little with Andrew's family, which believe me, caused me to be a nervous sort of a girl. just standing there thinking "ok dad, you can go home now". it turned out to be ok. to my good fortune and surprise, dad managed NOT to say anything vulgar or embarrassing. i guess thats a good sign, that he is finally getting noticably better in which case, i'm proud of the old man. Courtney's party was long and boring at times but it was nice to see some of Andrew's relatives again and feeling a little bit like family. Andrew drove me home because he had to do homework and frankly i would be too distracting for him. so that night, Liz and i had a girls night while Roy and Jayden were at Joe and Carolyn's. i ended up staying up way too late that night so the next morning was a bit rough.

dad took me to breakfast sunday morning. i was still in my pjs and really reluctant to go. but come on, he's dad and lonely. so i went. its one of the few things we still do together. afterwards i got ready for graduation and sat up there with Andrew's family for almost two hours (45 minutes of which was just waiting for graduation to start). i hadn't realized how many people i knew who were graduating and i was actually happy to be there. i mean, Johann for example, i've known him since he was a 2nd grader and i was a 4th grader. it was like watching a little brother. same with Tyler who i had verbally claimed as my little brother when he was in 7th grade. and there were so many others. lots of hugs after graduation too.

after graduation, i was invited to lunch with Andrew's family (or rather a small gathering of his family). it was nice for the most part. i was a little shy (surprise surprise) but it went well. it turns out Andrew's dad Micheal actually enjoyed talking to dad for that short time and was actually willing to chat with him again. nice huh? anyway, Andrew went home with his family to say goodbye and pack while i waited for mom to wake up from her long night of work. that night we drove to Cheney with one stop to Sharies for dinner. then after a few hours of studying, it was bedtime. unfortunately a short nap because Andrew's flight was at 6 in the morning and we had to get up at 4:30am. sad.

had my philosophy final yesterday. i'm pretty sure i did well. i almost don't care. *shrugs* talked to Terry (the professor) about the posters we made. turns out he likes mine so much he is going to hang it up in his office. go me for having a lame sense of humor! anyway, then i had my THTR 310 final which went pretty well.

today was the spanish final which took me longer to complete than the last two quarters. i think that was because we wrote a composition in Spanish on the last page which we HAD to use scratch paper for and THEN REWRITE it on the final paper. how lame. pretty sure i passed that one too. as for tomorrow, i have an astronomy test that i haven't studied for (but then again, don't really have to take), and a paper for tomorrow's THTR 150 final which includes two audition songs and two learned choreographed dances. all ready for them. yay. yeah, the one dance is from The Life which is called "Why Don't They Leave Us Alone?" which is about Pimps and Whores, and we have to dress up like our characters and get into the song. weird, i know.

as for right now, i'm going to finish out the night writing said paper and possibly studying for astronomy (if i take it). peace out.
