i donated blood today. it was pretty nice i guess. much better than my last two bloody experiences. this time, i just flew right through all of the registration and questions. the mini-physical was a breeze, and before i know it, i'm in a chair in the care of a named named Steve. he was funny, and keep calling me hun and darling. it was weird... and i think at one time he called me baby. :S oh well. he had a hard time finding the vien. turns out we had to use one more towards the elbow, and since it was an awkward spot, he had to get it seconded by another guy who was just hilarious and knew what he was doing. so the second guy (didn't catch his name) actually finished the process. normally where a needle would hurt in the arm, he made it so it was not as painful. it was awesome. :) i was doing really good too. going real fast. around end time, a guy not far from me passed out and went down fast. it raised a bit of excitement and he was fine, but it scared me a little, how fast he went down. which made my heart race a little and had to be tilted back in my chair so i wouldn't pass out. luckily, i was finished. then it was off to the cookie and juice table to replenish things. only 5 more pints and i'll have donated a gallon of blood. :) yay! helping out where i can.

as for the rest of my day, things went pretty well. i didn't go to Philosophy or Astronomy. i did go to Spanish, and we were let out early. so i sat outside at a table and started on my Spanish homework, waiting for mom to show up. Brenna sat with me and did spanish as well. that was nice. mom and i went to lunch. talked to Jacqui and Liz Gintz. that was interesting. lol. then i went home, changed, and ran off to Curves. after working out, i chilled, and then ran off to donate blood.

so thats it. thats my day in a nutshell. pretty boring huh. :)
