I am still soo tired. Stayed up late again last night, it's a neverending cycle I go through. I am such a night owl (till midnight or later) but I am forcing myself to go to bed no later than that because I watch the neighbor kids before and after school. They knock on the door at 6am because their mom has to be at work downtown Baltimore at 7 plus she has to drop off the 3 year old at daycare on her way. It makes for a very long day. I have to stop doing this! I got a phone call at 2:30 am from my brother in law (Aaron's sister's husband) telling me she was in labor and they were heading to the birth center. Which is fine, but I expected a call telling me the baby was already born, not in labor call at 2am :p oh well. Woke up at 5:30 so I could get a shower before my day started, and then called him back to find out what the progress was. This is her 3rd child, and all her labors are fast, like mine. Turns out she went to the hospital because the birth center's paging system failed, and she didn't know what else to do. Finally got ahold of the midwife, and had the option of transferring back to the birth center. Decided against it because she felt she should just stay put. So ends up there's meconium in the water, as it was with the first baby...so if she had gone to the birth center she would have ended up back at the hospital anyway. Little Ethan James was born at 6:44am. He's 8lb. 2 oz and 19 inches (might be 19 1/2) I cannot wait to see pictures! I know my father in law will email some to me when he gets a chance. Their other 2 kids are both girls, now they have a baby brother and I know they are so excited!
Found out I don't have the neighbor kids today since their mom has the day off for doctor appointments and such. Good day to run to the grocery store n stuff.
I still have to type out my journal I kept from our trip to NY. I have more pictures to upload to the webpage, but that can wait. Pictures to get developed too, but that will have to wait a couple days. I have business calls to make, and a call to an online friend in Oregon who is again in the hospital with a Crohn's Disease flare-up. She was there over the weekend, they released her yesterday, and she went back in last night. I want to call and let her know I'm thinking of her. I've known her at least 2 years but have never met in person. She's a real dear friend too!
Tyler didn't want to go to school again today...need to find out why and soon. :(
Well that's it for now. Austin is curious about the computer now and sitting on my lap so makes it hard to type. Especially with him pushing my fingers to "help" LOL!
