1. What side dish do you like the most: potato salad, macaroni salad, baked beans, etc.
Fresh garlic bread, my Mum's potato salad, grilled portobello mushrooms.
2. Do you prefer food grilled on a charcoal or gas grill?
Well, we have a gas grill, and I love the convenience. Turn it on, and cook. My sister has a charcoal pit, and you need to plan your bbq a little more. So I'd say gas, 'cause I work through the summer and need the speed.
But really, flame. Cooking in the coals of a real fire is the best.
3. Do you want just one meat item, or a mixture: such as chicken, steaks, hot dogs, hamburgers, etc.
I've never understood the whole "BBQ = carniverous orgy" thing. My neighbours, when they BBQ, have chicken, ribs, steak and sausages all going at once; we'll have a meat (steak, pork chops, sausages, or chicken), potatoes, and veggies going.
4. Do you want to eat outside or inside?
Depends on the weather. ...and the time of day (mosquitoes) or year (wasps).
5. Does it bother you to have citronella candles burning if you are eating or cooking outside?
I hate the smell of those, and they make the whole meal tastes like cintronella...
