The geese at the river were doing their mating dances - when the ganders weren't posturing over territory.

The cardinal behind the store was busy claiming *this* tree to be *his* tree, and don't you forget it.

The doves are billing and cooing on the fence behind my house.

Spring. It's just around the corner.

The ducks at our pond are all starting to get very restive. I'm not sure where they actually build nests since we're in an urban area, but I'm really excited about the prospect of seeing ducklings this spring/summer.
