On the Second Day of Christmas...
A sleeping-in day, today. I rose about an hour ago, and found that my youngest was still sleeping, which is the first time ever he's stayed abed past 8:00am that I can remember. He didn't sleep well at all Christmas Eve, and got up madly early Christmas morning, so I guess it all caught up with him.
We have plans, he and I - he'd like me to show him how to use the Corking 'doll' he found in his stocking. So we'll do that later. He's a little crab-tastic right now, though, so I'm not inclined to hurry with that...
I expect Vilmos will spend most of his day doing comp. tech. support; Danger Boy got a new computer for Christmas (hopefully one that'll hold him until the end of high-school!), so there's a transfer of files that needs to happen this week. ...and my Dad got a new computer, too, and is so helpless as to not even be able to install brand new softwear. *sigh* My father is stubbornly unwilling to learn how to do these sorts of things...
Me, I'm putting together the Wooly Board I got from Vilmos (YAY), and then working my way through the stupidly large pile of knitting I have in my 'active' baskets so that I can get started on something new again. Definitely casting on for a sweater soon, probably for Vilmos as he's worn through the cuffs of the sweater I made him 12 years ago (wow, was it really that long ago now?).
Tomorrow I'l brave the Mall, and see if I can pick up the most recent Bowie CDs with the gift card Mouse gave to me. ...and I'll eat my way through the miles of chocolate from my Dad and Danger Boy...
