Fitness Routine

It's one of those things that sounds like a hokey add, except it's free. ...and it works.

Vilmos started this excercise program some weeks ago, and he's already seeing differences, not so much in terms of weight but in terms of how his clothing fits; muscles are a-buildin'!

He's on week six now, and yesterday I joined in; day one of week one.

I am very proud to say I finished all three super sets. I am also slightly stunned to say I finished all three super sets. I've been working physically at the Village for three years, and my overall muscle strength is better than I'd guessed.

That said, I am stiff and sore all over, and appreciating having a rest day today. Tomorrow I do day two of week one; we'll see what kind of condition I'm in this time on Sunday!

So, yeah. A few not-very-expensive supplies (I think Vilmos spent maybe $150 total - an excercise ball, chin-up bar and lifter's gloves from Canadian Tire, and the body bands advertised on the homepage of the link above), no free weights (which can be dangerous if used incorrectly), and a complete fitness routine.

Although, for the record, we're only doing the resistance training, not the cardio interval training nor the diet. YMMV

...and now, I am taking these tired, achey muscles to the tub for long soak. Cheers.
