What story did you love reading, as a child?
There were two picture books I remember really loving to read - Where the Wild Things Are and a retelling of Little Red Riding Hood that included the most wonderful oil pastel illustrations.
But I didn't really read "childrens books" for very long - I remember reading Black Beauty at my desk in grade one.
What remains to be your all-time favorite book?
*heh* ...Tolkien. All of it. I think that's pretty well known.
What book do you usually recommend to people?
Steven Brust, either Brokedown Palace (out of print, but if you can get your hands on it, it's well worth it) or Gypsy.
Sean Stewart, Mockingbird.
If you were a character in a book, who would you be?
Oh, goodness. ...probably Eowyn.
If you could write a book, what would it be about?
There are too many words trying to get through to be able to answer this question. Too many stories.
