Early Morning Report
I leave for work in roughly half an hour. ...and ya wanna hear something really weird? I'm going to try to stay offline until after the kids go to bed. Because I'm missing out on life again. I do that sometimes - at least I'm not quitting cold-turkey for a couple of months. We'll see how it goes.
Part of the reason I'm staying off-line for a while is the two-year implosion cycle of bulletin boards. I don't need virtual stress right now - I have enough real-life stress to carry my energy, thank you very much. No, no, there's no real implosion ...yet... but I forsee some sort of conflaguration coming. Enh. I've got lots of practice fence-sitting - my virtual butt has the picket marks to prove it.
Um, fence-sitting not in the spectatorial sense, but rather in the remaining quietly neutral sense. For the record, of course I have an opinion, but I figure it's irrelevant at this point.
So, on to more important Real Life things: today is my Vilmos's Birthday! Happy, happy birthday, my lovely. I am so grateful, and so lucky, to have you in my life. I hope your day goes well, and the kids don't totally drive you to distraction.
