Time for a teensy update.
So... A lot's been going on in my life, and to be honest I don't really feel like updated on a ton of it. Basically the short of it is that I'm looking for a new job, which sucks but is also chance to find that next great opportunity, and to get a more diverse experience in my field. But for now, I sit, do housework and school work, apply for jobs and surf the web. I am EXTREMELY glad for the extra time for schoolwork, however. Two 30-pagers due next week. Yowza.
Otherwise, life goes on as usual. Thanksgiving was a blast- we stayed and extra day in "the buff" because we were having such a great time with my fam. And there was SNOW which was most excellent. Not a ton, but enough to get me into the holiday spirit, that's for sure. And this time we did NOT try to cram in seeing a million people, which I was happy about and regretted at the same time. I would have loved to see me some sally_k for example. :) Next time, for sure.
My mom killed her first doe, which I have mixed feelings about. First, I'm not sure my mother should be allowed to weild a semi-automatic weapon in the woods (or anywhere, for that matter.) Although she did take a class, but still... Second, Katie witnessed the butchering of the animal, so she's now unsure if she'll ever be able to eat anything with a face again. We shall see. Anyway, my momma was happy, so I was happy for her, and proud of her accomplishment of Bambi's mom's death. Um... yeah.
Other than that, now much new. Roller skating party tomorrow in honor of Meg's bday, which should be fun. I really wish leibs could be there, however. We'd couples skate to Journey's "Don't Stop Believing" and she'd buy me a house on the beach for only $1000. But alas, it can not be so. Still, roller-fun will be good times. Hopefully there will be pictures to post.
