Last week I arrived in Enterprise. I was there from the 1st through the 6th of July. I don’t know why but when I was there this time, I really started feeling out of place. I felt as if I shouldn't have been there. I have my reasons behind it all but in this case I shall not write about it. I’m hoping this is just a phase or hoping that the next time I go back will be different.
Here’s a short summary of what I did in Enterprise. First for the 3rd of July Chris and me both went to “Freedom Fest”; located on the base of Fort Rucker. They had the most beautiful firework display I’ve ever seen. The next day we drove down to Panama City Beach to see the 4th of July Fireworks display. We sat on a wooden chair in the sand and watched a 20,000-dollar firework show that lasted only twenty minutes. For this firework show to be so expensive it sure was a let down for all of us waiting so patiently at the beach. So, that’s how I celebrated the 4th of July woo hooo!
The day before I left to go home, Chris decided to take me on one of his classic radio remotes. We went to this trashy club in the middle of a trashy city that goes by the name of Andalusia just past the city of Opp. Let me tell you that this club was a YEE HAAWWIN place to be. It looked like something that came straight out of a trailer park trash community. Lets just say that the owner sleeps on a mattress in the corner of this tiny building. Me being the city girl that I am, had to stay at this shitty place for about 4 hours. Right before Chris’s last announcement on the radio the power goes out. We are forced to go outside for the remaining time that we were there. It was sooo trashy!!
Missing You
Every time we say goodbye a little piece of me dies inside,
And at the end of the day I am left alone, in this bed, wondering, Where’s the love I have known?
And at night I lay upon my bed and cry
I cry because you are there and I am here
And though I know you have no way near.
I am still here, left alone, and missing you every night that draws near...
-Dedicated to Chris
