I had a great day yesterday. Yesterday was filled with love and humor. Starting off before Chris had gone to work. Before Chris had left we were doing the laundry. So Chris told me to get his clothes and towels out of the dryer before he came home. So I said, "ok." Well what happened next will prove that i'm nothing but a scared little baby. I walked into the laundry room and low and behold two green praying mantises were hanging from the wall and looking directly into my face. It was the most horrible site I could have ever imagined. Since I was little i've never liked the idea of any bugs bigger then my hand to even be in the same room as me. I remember when I was in sixth grade I hated bugs so much that my own mother did my bug project for me. So, whenever Chris arrived home, I said to him, "Chris, don't be mad, I couldn't get the laundry." So, after laughing at me for about an hour Chris finally got his laundry. Soon after that, Chris and me went to Wal-Mart. He told me that he wanted to cook for me. He bought all the ingredients and we came back home. I'm telling you, I thought I could cook but Chris can cook so much better then I can. It was the best thing I had ever tasted. It tasted better then Olive Garden. On the sweeter sides of things, he also cooked me some smores. YUUMMMY!
After our food digested, he took me to the most romantic park in the world. We sat in this grandma looking swing under a huge oak tree and just talked for an hour. It really romantic with the wind, frogs, and gentle crickets chirping in the background.
Around 11:00 I went to bed. I had woke up rather spontaneously around 12:00. I went down to the kitchen to get some water and went straight over to the couch and fell asleep. In minutes I heard Chris running down the stairs yelling out my name "Lindsey! Lindsey!!, there’s a tornado down on the ground in Decatur!!!!" All of a sudden I was reaching for whatever phone device that was on the ground and immediately starting calling my mother and everyone else I knew. About 1:15a.m. it was finally over. I wish I could have been in Decatur. I love weather like that for some odd reason. It's just so damn relaxing.
