For some reason, i woke up this morning, got online, and read for the first time several complete stories about what happened with the egyptian ferry sinking this past week. nearly 1000 people are believed to be dead, and mumbarak made a public speech addressing God, saying may the dead be counted amongst the martyrs. im not sure why, but that really pissed me off, and made me horribly sad at the same time. excuses for ignorance. so...in honor of all those people that died...i went and looked up a prayer from the doctrine of eternal life in my egyptian book of the dead.
