I just did a half hour "run" and I feel so good! It was ten minutes of actual running--2 min of running, then 3 min of walking. That was doable! I've always pushed myself too hard and then given up. So...I'm going to take a chance and actually write down that I want to continue to do this. I have the time. It's just a matter of remembering 3-4 times a week. The nice thing is I'm not completely out of shape. I'm somewhere between week 2 and 3 of 10-week run your first 5k programs I've found online. I have ten weeks until I leave Cambridge. I feel like if I can run 5k I should definitely be fit enough and strong enough for the cycling trip I want to do this summer. I've never run 5k in my life. And I'm going to use Google calender to help me.
